Bible - Daily Verse, Prayer — Privacy Policy

Bible - Daily Verse, Prayer ("the app", internally "BibleVersi") is built by OriGid Apps. We collect as little as possible: the app has no accounts, no sign-up, and no ads, and the Bible text works fully offline on your device.

What we collect and why

• Anonymous identifier. On first launch the app creates an anonymous Firebase session (a random ID). It is not linked to your name, email, or contacts, and we cannot identify you from it.
• AI chat messages. When you use "Ask the Bible", the text you send is transmitted to our server and forwarded to an AI model provider to generate the answer. We do not store your conversation on our servers — only a daily message count is kept (tied to the anonymous ID) to enforce fair-use limits.
• Purchases. Subscriptions and purchases are processed by Apple. We use RevenueCat to validate purchase status; RevenueCat receives your anonymous ID and Apple receipt data. We never see your payment details.
• Analytics. We use Firebase Analytics to understand aggregate usage (e.g. which screens are used). This includes device model, OS version, and app events, associated with the anonymous ID.

What stays on your device

Your saved verses, reading-plan progress, streaks, theme choice, reminders, alarm settings, and reading position are stored locally on your device (and your personal iCloud backup) — we have no access to them. Wallpapers you save go directly to your photo library; the app only has permission to add photos, never to read them.

Notifications

Daily verse reminders and alarms are scheduled locally on your device. We do not send remote push notifications.

Data sharing

We never sell your data. Data is shared only with the processors named above (Google Firebase, RevenueCat, and our AI model provider) strictly to operate the features you use.

Data retention & deletion

Usage counters and analytics tied to your anonymous ID are kept only as long as needed. Deleting the app removes your anonymous session; to request deletion of any residual server-side data, email us with your request.

Children

The app is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
